Metastasis answers the age old question of what would happen if Soulsborne games and Annihilation had a baby, and then what if that baby was a horror TTRPG full of tables to inspire bizarre encounters and upsetting monsters, and also the baby fit on one page?

Your party comes to with no memories, no possessions but the clothes on their backs, a single weapon each, and a certainty that they were put here to hunt down the Monster and kill it.

Every time the party is defeated the Monster consumes them to become stranger and more terrible. The party awakens once more, this time with memories that bring them new strength.
